ABOUT SERGE

Mr. Dines, born Sergei Stanislavovich Smirnov, is an American (Russian-born) inventor, philosopher, writer,  roboticist, artist and futurologist. He is the founder of American Robotics University, Aksiomtek, and the University of South Florida prototyping club called M.E.C.H.

From a young age, he has invented purely from imagining in his mind how a process would work. For example, he invented and founded the Mechanical Electrical Computer Hub (MECH) club (USF, TAMPA), after realizing a need for university students, of all backgrounds, to gain experience without having to pay for projects. He self-taught himself general robotics in order to achieve this, help him bring his inventions to life, and help others achieve their dream invention through the club. After years of prototyping robotics solutions for clubs, Universities, and companies, he has the reputation around the South Florida area as "The Real Iron Man"  or "The Real Tony Stark". From napkin ideas to working prototypes, from Exoskeleton Junior Manager at USSOCOM to his robotics company Aksiomtek, Mr. Dines is no stranger to aiding and creating large value and cutting-edge technology. From Assistant Manager to robotics inventor, Mr. Dines has a balance of both non-technical and technical skills. He is the creator of the moral, futuristic, and scientific philosophy of Axiomaticism, which deals with sci fi topics like existence, the future state of man and the Universe, and the future of machines. Apart from his persistence, his successes are owed to his patient parents who always believed in him; he is forever thankful.
